About Dua Nadeem
Dua Nadeem is the founder of L’Atelier Dua, an independent interior and spatial design practice working across Oslo, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, as well as online. The studio offers a growing range of design services across residential, hospitality, cultural and shared environments.
Her eye for interiors was shaped early through close proximity to the worlds of real estate, project management and photography—learning not only how a space looks, but how it is staged, how it photographs and how a project comes together from plan to finished room. That understanding grew into hands-on design work for private clients, from clean Scandinavian modern interiors to homes shaped around the client’s own culture and identity.
Her design knowledge moves from Scandinavian restraint and wider European traditions to an understanding of how different cultures express identity through colour, pattern, craft, materials and the way rooms are used. Each project brings these references together in a way that belongs to the client and the architecture.

A personal point of view
Deep timber beside pale stone. Tactile cloth, sculptural lines and pools of warm light. Dua uses contrast softly, balancing atmosphere with the practical rhythm of everyday life.
“A room should reveal you slowly — through what you touch, where you pause and how the light settles.”
